Transfer Site Attendant

Requires a Part Time Employee to carry out

Transfer Site Attendant duties.

Main duties will include assisting residents with directing and sorting of their refuse at the site.

This position will require working outside during any type of weather.

Hours of Work: Wednesday & Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

& Mondays 8:00 am – noon during the months of June - September

The township spans an area approximately 127 square kilometers and is located about 25 minutes north west of Brockville off County Road 29.

Athens is home to 3,053 residents with two schools and six active churches.

Athens is home to a wide variety of businesses, a Medical Centre with Doctors and a Chiropractor, a Community Hall, several community groups, and many tourist attractions.

Athens offers something for everyone - young and old.

  • Charleston Lake - offers numerous summer and winter recreational activities for the whole family.
  • Athens Lions Club / Farmersville Steam Fair and Craft Show - a two day event, 3rd weekend in July.
  • Athens Cornfest is a fun filled day for kids and adults. Main Street is closed to traffic during the event filled day, always the 3rd Saturday in August.

The Farmers Market will open for the season on Victoria Day Weekend.

Please return the signed application and Code of Ethical Practices form plus the $75.00 fee for a Seasonal Permit to the Municipal Office for processing and issuance of permit. One day permits are also available.
